2010

Finished first in Group D. Drew Nigeria 1-1 in the quarterfinals and fell 2-4 in a penalty kick shootout.

2008

Finished first in Group B ahead of France on goal differential. Defeated England 3-0 in the quarterfinal round and Germany 1-0 in the semifinals. Took first place overall with a 2-1 win over Korea DPR in the final.

2006

Finished first in Group D ahead of France. Defeated Germany 4-1 in the quarterfinals and held China to a scoreless draw in the semifinals before falling 4-5 in a penalty kick shootout. Took fourth place overall behind another scoreless draw and 5-6 penalty kick shootout with Brazil.

2004

Finished first in Group C ahead of Russia, Korea Republic, and Spain. Defeated Australia 2-0 in the quarterfinals and fell 1-3 to Germany in the semifinals. Finished third overall with a 3-0 defeat of Brazil.

2002

Finished first in Group C ahead of England and Australia. Defeated Denmark 6-0 in the quarterfinal round and Germany 4-1 in the semifinal round. Took first place overall with a 1-0 win over Canada in the final.
